Australia is the forth largest exporter of wine in the world and is perhaps best known for its Shiraz since the grape arrived from the Northern Rhone in 1834. However Australia actually produces wine in every state and therefore has areas ideal for a wide variety of grapes.  South Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland are the main region and between these most varieties can be found. However our favourites are the fantastic Rieslings of Eden Valley, the Cabernet from the Barossa and the Tasmanian Pinots amongst others.
