Product Notes

Bodegas Pittacum Bierzo Tinto wine brings forth the finest qualities of the Spanish grape, Mencia. Its vibrant ruby hue beholds the nose with an intoxication of lush, ripe red fruit, underlined with a hint of liquorice and smoky undertones. Derived from 50-year-old vines, it is matured in French and American oak barrels, offering outstanding complexity and balance. Tasting it, the palate will discover a harmonious fusion of wild berries, clove, and a slight hint of earthy minerals. Full-bodied and richly flavoured, yet with a surprisingly fresh finish, this wine is unequivocally an epitome of Spain’s artisan winemaking.

About the Winery

Bodegas Pittacum

Whisking away to the stunning landscapes of Bierzo in the North West of Spain, we discover the charming Bodegas Pittacum winery.
