Product Notes

Caliterra Edición Limitada ‘A’ is an extraordinary Chilean wine of premium quality. This compelling blend of Syrah, Malbec, and Carmenere shares rich flavours, balanced by exquisite velvety tannins. Distinct notes of black fruit, spices, and oak come to the fore, revealing its 14-month aging in French barrels. The deep ruby hue alludes to its complexity, resonating in the long, powerful finish. It pairs perfectly with robust meat dishes or enjoyed alone. This limited-edition wine, produced in the pristine Colchagua Valley, is a testament to the remarkable potential of Chile's viticulture. A sophisticated choice for the discerning wine connoisseur.

Tasting Notes

Deep crimson in colour with bluish rims, this wine seduces at first sight. Elegant and mysterious on the nose, it shows floral notes of violets and sweet melon, well accompanied by the typical spicy notes of Carmenère, which show up at the beginning of its complex bouquet. Allowed to breathe, the wine slowly displays notes of redcurrants and pomegranate complemented by aromas of herbs like thyme and rosemary. Finally, the aromatic closure of this lovely wine is led by notes of roasted tomatoes and black pepper that give way to the desired flavours on the palate, filling the mouth with juiciness, fruitiness and different textures.
