Product Notes

Tenuta di Capezzana Villa di Capezzana Carmignano wine is a rich and complex Tuscan cuvée from Italy. Expressing fragrant notes of dark cherries, forest fruits, and subtle spices, this beautifully poised wine reveals an impressive depth and full-bodied structure. Its complex layers unveil a delicate mix of ripe fruits and spicy undertones, accented with fine-grained tannins and a persistent finish. About the Winery

Tenuta di Capezzana

Standing proud in the Carmignano region of Tuscany, the historic Tenuta di Capezzana winery is an exemplar of Italian wine production. With a legacy spanning eight centuries, this vineyard-based winery is renowned for producing some of Italy's most exquisite wines, boasting of both character and elegance in each bottle.

The estate is located roughly 20 kilometres west of Florence, framed by the splendid Tuscan hills. Tenuta di Capezzana spans over 670 hectares, with woodland, olive groves, and 90 hectares dedicated to vineyards. One cannot help but become captivated by the unabashed beauty of the landscape, where harmony between man-made vineyards and verdant greenery is realised.

Since the 1920s, the Capezzana estate has been under the continuous stewardship of the Contini Bonacossi family. Each generation has shown resolute commitment to maintaining the property's heritage, whilst introducing modern viticulture techniques to ensure the production of distinctive, high-quality wines. Brought forth from the vineyard's fertile soil, are the exceptional bottles of wines such as Barco Reale, Villa di Capezzana and Vin Santo di Capezzana, to name but a few.

However, it's not just high-quality wines that Tenuta di Capezzana is known for. Olive oil production holds an indispensable place in its portfolio, with extra virgin olive oil obtained directly from hand-picked olives.

Indeed, Tenuta di Capezzana's winemaking experience extends far beyond providing delightful wine. The estate also offers a range of culinary courses, wine tasting sessions and picturesque accommodation for those who wish to immerse themselves in a comprehensive Tuscan experience

In essence, Tenuta di Capezzana is a vineyard that honours its history, whilst simultaneously embracing the new. It's an enchanting place where bottles are not just filled with wine, but with centuries of tradition love and dedication; to the art of winemaking.
