Product Notes

Caliterra Edición Limitada ‘M’ wine is a posh, top-tier Chilean creation. An exquisite blend of malbec, Cabernet Franc and petit verdot, it bursts with rich black and red fruit flavours. Bountiful notes of plum, blackcurrant and blackberry, subtly balanced by a hint of spicy pepper, create a sensuous taste profile. Matured in French oak barrels, it develops a complex, distinctive aroma that marries woody undertones with a fruity zing. This full-bodied, elegant wine, resplendent with smooth tannins, is ideal for extravagant dinner parties or as a sophisticated accompaniment to a lavish steak. A truly exceptional indulgence for the discerning wine enthusiast.

Tasting Notes

This wine's garnet-red colour of medium intensity stands out immediately, revealing a larger presence of grenache in this year’s blend. It displays great complexity on the nose, slowly showing a vast array of aromas which start with herbal and spicy notes, like rosemary and grey pepper, which give way to soft fruity aromas of cassis and blueberries and are completed with soft mineral touches. Floral aromas, as well as some citric notes, such as mandarin, also emerge. Its rich and vibrant acidity stands out on the palate, along with its juicy and fresh structure, making this wine a great Mediterranean blend with a long cellaring potential.
