About Us

Thank you for taking the time to read more about us!

At Just in Cases, we come to work each day because we love wine, and what's better than enjoying wine by yourself if not enjoying it with others! After browsing the pages of many well-known intensely boring wine websites, we decided to build www.justincases.co.uk. We hope that by creating an easy to use, easy to navigate site; whether it be on your iPad at home, your phone on the train or your work laptop, ordering wines you love has never been easier.

This is what we offer...

  • Great wines by the case at competitive prices.

  • Displayed on a cutting edge website optimised for mobile or tablet use with easy navigation and super-fast checkout.

  • Delivered quickly and securely UK and Europe wide from a specialist, outsourced central London wine warehouse.

  • Customer Adaptation - customer satisfaction and feedback is only our starting point. We want to become the wine website you want us to be.

We work with wineries we like so that we can recommend them knowledgeably. If we don't like what we sell then we're doing something wrong. So everyone gets involved and plays a part in what we choose to list. Which also happens to be where it gets exciting; with the constant evolution of growing regions, winery techniques and fresh faces joining the scene, there is no end to new things to try and add to the site. We like to share these great finds through our featured wines and wineries so keep an eye out.

Finally, it's not all 'about us', it's about you the consumer too, so get in touch if you have suggestions, questions or anything you wish to share. We're here to provide the best service for you, so we love feedback. That's why we work with Feefo, the world's most trusted supplier of ratings and reviews. And why we invite you to share your wine reviews directly on the website!

We list wines at £10btl and above based on tasting the wines at supplier events. Of course there are good wines under £10btl and, very occasionally, we will list some wines at less than £10btl. But we’re focused on wines that will bring that smile of delight to the face on the very first sip, if not on the nose, and so we have chosen to focus on wines that are a little more than the UK average of £6btl. Great wines basically. Wines to remember.

We check our shortlisted wines against the ratings of top critics and show you the critic ratings (not the reviews as yet... but that can change if you want it to, let us know).

Then we calculate our JIC Rating. The JIC Rating is a QPR or Quality Price Ratio rating out of 10 and weighs critical opinion and price. We assign 5 points for the average of all critic's ratings and 5 points for value. All wines carry a JIC rating next to the price and all wines are searchable by the JIC Rating.

Since one of the partners is a software engineer, we're focused on ensuring that JIC is simple to use, easy to navigate, focuses on the products and that checkout is fast. We're configured first for mobile and tablet users, and that makes JIC even easier to use on a traditional desktop too. What can we do better, simpler, easier? Let us know!

Our warehouse is in Central London. Since nearly all the UK's wine importers are also in London, this means that we receive supplier deliveries within 24 hours rather than waiting up to 7 days for delivery to a shop location outside the M25. And that means we can deliver to you quickly - within 72 hours of receipt of order.

If you store wine in an account at a bonded warehouse, no problem. All wines are available with in bond pricing.

We only use Air-Sac packaging for safe and secure delivery. Every bottle is placed in a plastic sleeve and then pumped full of air and sealed. You can drop a bottle from 20ft up and it won't break. Order from JIC and your wine will arrive as it was bottled.

We're convinced that our business will only be truly successful if we respond quickly and thoughtfully to our customers and if we act on your suggestions to develop and improve our product and service offering.

That's why we've asked the UK's leading customer feedback company, Feefo, to manage customer reviews or our service and website independently and to display contributions on a dedicated page on our site. So say what you think of our service and encourage us to improve. And don't forget to contribute your wine reviews - we pay for every review!
