Product Notes

Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino wine is an exquisite Italian red with origins from Tuscany. Boasting a deep ruby hue, this wine tempts the senses with its intoxicating aroma of ripe red fruits, cloves, and earthy undertones. With a medium body, it elegantly balances the flavours of juicy cherry, vanilla, and a hint of espresso, finishing with a delightful woody note. It has a remarkable structure and acidity that indeed is an ode to the region's Sangiovese grape. Perfectly paired with red meat dishes, the Conti Costanti Rosso di Montalcino wine is a fine addition to any wine connoisseur's collection.

About the Winery

Conti Costanti

Based in the heart of Montalcino, Conti Costanti Winery is a revered institution in Italian viticulture. Here in this picturesque region, this family-run winery can trace its winemaking heritage back to an impressive 200 years, being managed by the same family since the 18th administration.

The winery is currently overseen by Andrea Costanti, who took the reins in the 1980s. Since then, he has been instrumental in elevating the estate’s reputation. Combining respect for tradition with a forward-thinking approach, he has honed the winemaking process to create wines that are truly reflective of the region’s attributes.

Spanning across a sprawling 10 hectares of vineyards, Conti Costanti produces two remarkable Sangiovese wines – the Brunello di Montalcino and the Rosso di Montalcino. The wines are cultivated using traditional Italian methods, and the vineyard's rich, fertile soil contributes to their full-bodied and complex flavours.

Perhaps the most notable attribute of Conti Costanti wines is their ageing potential. Matured in large oak casks for several years, the wines develop rich, nuanced flavours that continue to evolve on the palate for decades after their vintage. These wines are the confluence of centuries-old tradition and modern winemaking techniques; each bottle is a testament to the winery’s commitment to quality.

The philosophy of Conti Costanti - the union of tradition and innovation, is evident in its commitment to sustainable viticulture: the vineyards are managed with utmost respect for the environment and biodiversity, contributing to the unique terroir that defines each Conti Costanti bottle.

Visitors to the winery are warmly welcomed, and can expect a tour through the cellars, a stroll around the vineyards, and, of course a taste of the exceptional wines Conti Costanti has to offer. As you sample the expertly crafted wines amidst the stunning Tuscan hills, it easy to see why Conti Costanti is one of Italy’s most respected wineries;
