Product Notes

Glenelly Estate Reserve Chardonnay is a sumptuously fragrant, South African white wine loaded with enticing, multi-layered complexity. The nose is greeted by invigorating citrus undertones, lush pineapple notes, and a hint of distinctive vanilla, beautifully balanced by the delicately toasty character from elegant French oak ageing. On the palate, this lusciously creamy wine exhibits an impressive structure, with refined minerality, well-rounded acidity, and an extravagantly long finish. A versatile accompaniment to various gourmet dishes, this Chardonnay is an incredibly sophisticated interpretation of Stellenbosch terroir.

Tasting Notes

The Estate Reserve Chardonnay has floral aromas with baked apple, singed citrus rind and toasted chestnuts. A harmony of apple notes, citrus, heather and spiced cinnamon butter are on the palate which is all supported by a vivid acidity. The flavours of pastry and toasted fruit linger to a mouth-watering finish.
