Product Notes

Jim Barry The Armagh Shiraz is a gloriously rich Australian wine with deep, lush flavours. Brilliant crimson in colour, this vintage offers a euphoric mix of ripe raspberries, blackberries, and plum, balanced exquisitely with delicate spicy undertones. Each sip is layered with complex notes, predominantly dark chocolate and barrels of sweet spices, finishing with silky tannins that linger on the palate. Aged in French oak, this Shiraz not only expresses its strikingly intense full-bodied aroma but also showcases a marvellous longevity. A fine product of Clare Valley, The Armagh Shiraz manifests Jim Barry's renowned artful winemaking skills.

Tasting Notes

Complex and intense aromas of rich dark fruit, sweet spice, dark chocolate and dried herbs lead to a palate of concentrated dark fruit flavours. Fine tannins envelope the abundance of fruit. This is a wine of great power, length and poise.
