Product Notes

Kaiken Obertura Uco Valley Cabernet Franc is an exquisite Argentinean wine, growing popularity amongst wine aficionados. Heralding from the high elevations of the Uco Valley, it boasts an intoxicatingly rich flavour. Expect notes of ripe berries, herbs and hints of bell pepper, crafted into an elegant blend. This medium-bodied red is defined by its smooth texture and expressive dark fruit palate, perfectly underpinned by soft tannins. The wine's finish is satisfyingly long and well-balanced, making every sip a unique experience, providing a lavish pairing for hearty meats. Matured in French oak barrels, each bottle encapsulates tradition and sophistication.

Tasting Notes

This Cabernet Franc is intense ruby red in colour with elegant purple shades. The nose is complex, with aromas of ripe redcurrants, fresh plums and red pepper combined with spicy notes of black pepper, wild thyme and a hint of menthol. On the palate, it has beautiful fruit concentration balanced by fresh acidity and minerality, reflecting the high-altitude location of the vineyards. The long, elegant finish displays red fruit and spicy notes.
