Product Notes

Selvapiana Chianti Rufina is an elegant Italian wine deeply rooted in Florentine tradition. It boasts a vibrant, ruby red hue, unfolding fragrant aromas of ripe red cherries, perfect for your discerning liquor cabinet. Upon sipping, expect the tantalising zest of fresh fruit, intermingling with playful hints of spice and earthy accords. This medium-bodied wine is meticulously crafted from Sangiovese grapes, aged gracefully in oak barrels to enrich its robustness. Its lively character, tied hand in hand with a flawless balance of tannins and acidity, makes this Chianti Rufina a classically sophisticated choice to pair with red meats or hearty pasta dishes.

Tasting Notes

Vibrant ruby red in colour, this wine has aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, with a hint of spice. The palate is ripe and juicy but still elegant and true to Selvapiana’s classic style, with a tight structure and lifted, floral finish that is balanced perfectly by refreshing acidity.
