Product Notes

Tokara Sauvignon Blanc is a South African wine showcasing a harmony of crisp, fresh flavours. On the nose, it offers enticing hints of passionfruit, lime zest, melon and elderflower. On the palate, it possesses intense minerality paired with zippy citrus notes, rounded off with a balanced acidity ensuring longevity. This elegant, full-bodied Sauvignon Blanc maintains Tokara's exceptional winemaking reputation. Grown in the cooler, maritime influenced vineyards, the grapes express a fascinating complexity. With every sip, it presents a profound South African terroir character, perfectly suited for sophisticated wine enthusiasts. It's a delight on its own or an excellent pair with seafood dishes.

Tasting Notes

This wine has a vibrant light straw colour with a brilliant pale green edge that catches the light. There is an appealing mix of fresh Granny Smith apples, delicate blackcurrant leaf and lime blossom perfume on the nose. The wine enters the palate with concentrated flavours which follow through from the nose. The finish is refreshing and crisp with a slight oyster shell salinity that makes it quite moreish.
