Product Notes

Alain Coudert's Clos de La Roilette Fleurie Cuvée Tardive wine presents an exquisite balance of deep fruit and delicate floral notes. Originating from the picturesque region of Beaujolais, France, this late harvested wine embodies a rich, concentrated palate that elevates the traditional Gamay grape into tasting notes of ripe cherries, dark berries, and hints of luscious plum. The wine displays a noteworthy depth and complexity, due in part to the age-old vines from which it is cultivated. Perfectly suitable to age in the cellar or enjoy promptly, it underscores every gastronomic delight with its structured tannic finish.

Tasting Notes

The nose is full of bright notes of raspberry, tart plum, rhubarb, beetroot, and a hint of fennel. The palate reveals beautiful earthy and mineral notes, with soft, ripe tannins backed by good acidity. Hints of violets, dark cherries, cracked black pepper and smoke round out the layered palate.
