Mazzei - Zisola Noto Rosso is an exquisite Sicilian wine offering a vibrant encapsulation of the Noto region's bounty. With a flawless blend of Nero d'Avola grapes, it's renowned for its robust structure and balance. Nestled in the sun-kissed landscape of Sicily, the Mazzei - Zisola winery epitomises the marriage of tradition and innovation. This extraordinary winery is situated in the Noto territory, a land known for its fertile soil and historical mastery in viticulture.

Owned by the Mazzei family, which boasts a rich and colourful lineage tracing back to the 14th Century, the winery has been the embodiment of the family's passion for wines. Today, the Mazzei family, having chosen the Zisola estate for their Sicilian home, preserves this legacy whilst imbuing it; with a modern touch to meet the contemporary winemaking methods.

The estate impresses with 50 hectares of vineyards that bask in the balmy Mediterranean climate. The vines are attentively nurtured, organically farmed, and then expertly shaped into wines offering profound expressions of their Sicilian terroir. The winery predominantly produces red wines-, primarily from Nero d'Avola grapes, alongside some unexpected international varieties such as Petit Verdot.

If one steps into the Zisola winery, they will find state of the art facilities decked with stainless steel vats, French oak barrels and cutting edge technology. Despite the modernity, the intrinsic charm of the old world isn't lost on the visitors. A bespoke ageing cellar cradling fine oak barrels adds to the allure.
