Pale ruby red. Wild strawberries, violet flower and oregano. Fresh, pure, bright and firm. A sincere and intense Garnacha.

Botijo Rojo from Bodegas Frontonio is an evocative red wine from the Valdejalón region of Spain. This Grenache based wine is expertly crafted, boasting remarkable elegance and balance. It reveals delightful notes of cherries, redcurrants and a hint of spice, enveloped in subtle earthy undertones. Benefitting from minimal intervention wine-making, Botijo Rojo maintains a gorgeously pure expression of terroir. On the palate, it is wonderfully fresh and lively, brimming with vibrant acidity and supple tannins. A charming rusticity underpins this wine, making it a superb partner to hearty dishes. Bodegas Frontonio

Founded in 2008 by childhood friends Fernando Mora, Mario Lopez, and Francisco Latasa, Bodegas Frontonio has become renowned in the wine world for producing exquisite vintages and is currently co-owned by the three. The winery is located in Épila, a small township adorning the beautiful Iberian Peninsula.
