Cannonball Merlot is a Californian red, offering a gracious charm to its drinkers. This wine serves an indulgent blend of luscious fruity layers of blackberry, plum and marmalade, intricately combined with dark chocolate, tobacco, and vanilla. It's matured in a lush oak carcass, giving it a silky-smooth finish. It possesses a captivating ruby-red hue and a tantalising bouquet, brimming with the promise of decadence in every glass. It's a medium-bodied Merlot, with a modest alcohol percentage, making an ideal choice for a dinner party. Cannonball Merlot fairly balances the rich, fruit-forward style of the New World and the elegance of classic Merlot.

Euphoria in a bottle. The aroma of the wine shows fresh berries, cayenne spice and dried walnuts with nuances of toasty oak. Begin with a full silky entry with sophisticated structure, wonderful concentration and playful texture peeking through, slowly building into an engaging finish of fresh cherries, rich chocolate and spiced cake. On the palate, the wine is medium-full bodied with classic Bordeaux proportions. The wine finishes with perfectly balanced texture and flavor and a refreshing brightness. An absolute pleasure to enjoy on its own, the lush ripe tannins of this Merlot also pair well with a wide range of foods including salmon, pork, root vegetables and aged cheeses.
