Product Notes

Castello di Verduno Barolo Massara wine provides a luxurious escape into the world of Italian viticulture. Hailing from Piedmont, a region renowned for exceptional wines, its deep ruby hue intoxicates before the first sip. It offers layers of complex flavours, from dark cherries and plums to subtle undertones of roses and spices. Aged for several years, its robust, full-bodied flavour and velvety tannins do linger. It's a sublime testament to Nebbiolo's capacity for elegance and depth. Bold yet balanced, this Barolo is an ideal pairing for hearty dishes, or enjoyed on its own as the crescendo of a lingering evening.

Tasting Notes

Radiant yet heady fruit. Very “Verduno” in style for its perfumed, explosive aromatics. The tannins are a little less silky and more edgy than those of Monvigliero but this is all part of the fun, character and energy of this wine, pairing well with the hugely joyful, gregarious ripe cherry and violet-tinged fruit
