Product Notes

Castiglion del Bosco Millecento Riserva Brunello di Montalcino is a distinguished Italian wine celebrating Tuscan heritage. The nose is characterized by intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. This full-bodied impeccably balanced wine reveals a great depth in flavour with notes of black cherry, plum and subtle hints of tobacco and spice. Aged meticulously in oak casks, this Brunello boasts mature, silk-like tannins, culminating a lingering, complex finish. A worthy exemplar of elegant Sangiovese, this opulent Riserva captivates with its profound richness and majestic complexity, perfect for contemplative sipping or pairing with robust cuisine.

Tasting Notes

The wine preserved the acidic crispness that keeps it very young – thanks to the pH level. At the same time, we can perceive its extraordinary longevity, thanks to a very long finish. Notes of soil and graphite are combined with delicate hints of violets and cedar. The mouthfeel is enhanced by a great balance and an incredible length of drinking
