Product Notes

Château Ksara Merwah wine is a splendid Lebanese masterpiece that celebrates the aromatic profile of the indigenous Merwah grape. Showcasing a vibrant straw yellow hue, the wine presents an enticing bouquet of white floral notes and nuances of citrus fruits and bee wax. On the palate, its flavours entice with a harmonious blend of candied fruit and honey. This fine, medium-bodied wine paints an elegant structure, with a beautifully balanced acidity, culminating in a remarkably persistent finish. An excellent choice for those keen to explore the richness of Middle Eastern viticulture within a bottle of Château Ksara Merwah.

Tasting Notes

Merwah is an ancient white grape, which is given profound expression by Lebanon’s formidable terroir. It had been used in winemaking and arak production for centuries. It offers intense citrus and white flowers with mineral note. Our organic grapes are grown on 60-year-old vines at altitude of 1,600 meters, an altitude that gives the palate freshness and flavours of tropical fruits with understones of guava, lime and summer melon balanced with fresh acidity. Serve chilled.
