Product Notes

Crystallum Bona Fide Pinot Noir is a sophisticated, hand harvested wine from South Africa. It enchants the palette with elegantly layered flavours of ripe berries, plum, and delicate hints of earth and spice. Its elegant, silky texture carries hints of violet and mellow oak, whilst the supple tannins add beautifully to the complexity. Evoking a Burgundian style, this exquisite wine broadens in the glass, revealing a refined minerality. The wine's delightful finish truly stands testament to the subtle power of this Pinot Noir. Ideal for special occasions, it is the veritable epitome of grace. Drinking beautifully now, it also boasts enviable ageing potential.

Tasting Notes

The 2022 vintage is a powerful and complex expression of this site, with intense aromas of cranberry, sour cherry, tomato leaf, and nutmeg on the nose. The palate is equally decadent, with notes of cocoa, black cherry, wood smoke and mint. Deftly integrated tannins, refreshing acidity and a dense core of fruit indicate it's ability to age beyond 2035.
