Product Notes

Duemani Duemani Cabernet Franc is a prestigious Red Tuscan wine, revered for its impeccable quality and rich allure. With each sip, you'll be seduced by the velvety layers of dark fruit, along with delicate hints of fresh herbs and earthy undertones. Its deep garnet colour is visually enticing, while its full-bodied textured palate and lasting finish captivates the senses. This Italian masterpiece's intense complexity can be attributed to the detailed organic and biodynamic vineyard methods chosen by the Duemani estate. Ideal for lavish soirees or intimate dinners, it pairs beautifully with rich meat and game dishes. This wine is the epitome of opulence and elegance.

Tasting Notes

Deep, rich and savoury nose. Brambly cassis fruit and herb flavours on the palate with a gravelly smoky note. Married to the baritone flavours is a lovely freshness that lifts the wine and prolongs the finish. Layered but super precise and alive. A magical Duemani, as balanced and sophisticated as the 2010 but perhaps even finer and more energetic

About the Winery

Duemani

Located in the scenic region of Tuscany, Italy, Duemani winery is a distinct, eco-friendly establishment garnering recognition for its unparalleled artisan wines. With a relentless dedication to environmental sustainability, Duemani's vineyards thrive organically and biodynamically.

Duemani’s namesake comes from the passionate team of winemakers, Luca D'Attoma and Elena Celli. The duo’s passionate commitment towards terroir-expressive wines has led to an array of exemplary vintages that beautifully capture the wine's region of origin.

Sprawling across 7 hectares of splendid Tuscan hills, Duemani’s vineyards are planted with Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah varieties. Notably, the vineyard’s layout has been meticulously planned according to the cosmological significance of the moon and sun. The Cabernet Franc flows on the vineyard's steep slopes, while the Merlot and Syrah are cultivated in the warmer, lower areas.

One of Duemani's distinguishing characteristics is its use of biodynamic viticulture, an eco-conscious approach that harmoniously aligns the agricultural processes with nature’s rhythms. The vineyard flourishes without the use of artificial fertilisers or pesticides, the result being grapes that are naturally ripe, healthy, and brimming with authentic flavour.

Duemani Winery not only excels in its wine but also the design of its winery, the structures blending effortlessly with the serene ambiance of Tuscany. The cellar chests, fully integrated with the Tuscan hills, utilise the benefits of gravity flow, ensuring minimal disturbance to the wine during the vinification process.

Beyond its stand-out aesthetics, Duemani's wines are an exciting, sensory exploration of the Tuscan terroir. This, their passion and innovative style have fuelled Duemani’s prominence in the global wine landscape. Duemani's wines are widely recognised for their distinctive aroma, deep, complex flavours and elegantly structured personality.

From its eco-friendly practices to its remarkable wines, Duemani Winery shines as a beacon of biodynamic viticulture. It's commitment to quality and authenticity make it a must-visit destination for wine lovers and environmental enthusiasts alike.
