Tasting Note

Golden yellow and slightly hazy, with an expressive, complex nose of quince, tangerine and ripe orchard fruit, complemented by fennel, dried herbs and subtle honeyed notes. The palate is concentrated and textured yet retains excellent freshness, with citrus and quince fruit supported by lively acidity and a fine tannic grip from extended skin contact. Delicate creamy and savoury nuances add depth, leading to a long, chalky and distinctly saline finish.

Product Notes

Alonso & Pedrajo La Pequeñita Blanco Macerado Malvasía is a sophisticated Canary Island white wine that beguiles wine lovers with its unique, nuanced flavours. Handcrafted from the Malvasía grape, it is gently macerated to coax out its distinctive character. In the glass, it presents a beautiful straw hue with scents of ripe citrus and wild herbs. The palate is given a rich treat of lychee and apricots with subtle minerality. A perfect balance is attained between fruitiness and freshness, coupled with an elegantly lengthy finish. This boutique wine pairs wonderfully with seafood or light poultry dishes. Truly, a special delight.
