Product Notes

Antinori La Braccesca Achelo wine is a deeply enticing expression of Italian winemaking. Produced in the abundant vineyards of the Antinori estate in Tuscany, this Syrah based wine boasts an arresting ruby-red colour. Its maturation in oak barrels endows it with a rich, aromatic profile enlivened by a harmonious blend of black fruit, spices and mild tobacco notes. The palate savours its velvety texture, delectable full-bodied nature, balanced tannins and an enduring, pleasantly spicy finish. La Braccesca Achelo is an exemplary choice for those who appreciate the compelling depth and sophistication of an elegant red wine.

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Achelo shows an intense ruby-purple color. The nose offers notes of spices in excellent balance with aromas of red currants and blackberries. The palate is supple, with soft tannins well integrated with the notes of liquorice and red fruit, and the finish and aftertaste are long and savory.
