Taste Profile
Tasting Note
The nose of appealing cedar wood and black cherry is lifted by tart cranberry at the plunge of the palate, with fleeting notes of geranium and cassis in the distance. Higher skin to juice-ratios with smaller berries have resulted in a wine with an incredibly refined tannin structure and texture plenty. To close: A stupendously fresh acidity and the gritty salinity Beau Constantia wines have become well known for.
Product Notes
Beau Constantia Aidan is a truly intoxicating blend from the picturesque farms of South Africa. This meritoriously harmonised Bordeaux-styled blend comprises five components - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, offering an impressive fusion of tastes. The wine is acclaimed for its deep ruby colour and enchanting fragrance of delicate dark fruits, chicory and charred oak. On the palate, it unfolds layers of rich cassis, black plum and ripe blackberry, harmonised with a welcoming hint of dark chocolate. Captivatingly complex, it offers a fantastic finish and is a perfect companion accompanying robust meat dishes.
