Covering 24 hectares of serene, rolling hills, this hasn't always been your typical vineyard. Initially the land, which exhibits a rich viticulture perfect fir grape cultivation, was grazed by sheep and cattle. However the Sauvage family, who have extensive winemaking insight, saw its potential and bought the land, converting it into the impressive winery it is today.

At Burn Cottage, the approach to winemaking is rooted in tradition, with a keen focus on biodynamic principles. Procedures are carefully thought out, with every detail painstakingly scrutinised, to ensure top-quality wines. Their philosophy is one of respect for the earth and vine, working meticulously to strengthen and nourish the soil, aiming to leave it in a better condition than they found it.

The ethos has undeniably seen success. Their Pinot Noir, which is the speciality here, mirrors the passion and care that has been poured into it's making.
