Product Notes

Cain Vineyard & Winery's Cuvée NV 17 exhibits the winemaker's finesse. Hailing from Napa Valley, California, this non-vintage blend employs Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The stunning red offers an exciting potpourri of red and dark fruit aromas accentuated by undertones of wild herbs. Refined silkiness on the palate delivers ripe, succulent fruit flavours underlined by defined tannins. The complex, lengthy finish leaves you with a hint of classic Californian warmth. Overall, this elegant red is a resplendent tribute to the beautiful terroir it originates from. Perfect for intimate gatherings and fine dining experiences.

Tasting Notes

As intellectually stimulating as it is delicious, this curio from Chris Howell is actually a blend of two vintages and it is produced to allow affordability alongside complexity, not your typical Napa combination. A base of the excellent 2013 vintage, with selected lots from 2012, this is all about freshness, complexity and balance, with a mouth-watering texture and finish. Hugely satisfying and stimulating – and a great advert for the power of blending.
