Tasting Note

Ruby red in colour, with intense garnet reflections, the nose on this San Giuseppe is intense, packed with ample aromas of dried fruit, dried flowers and more ethereal notes of tobacco and liquorice. Full-bodied and harmonious on the palate, the wine is warm, rich, and soft in the mouth, smoothing the tannin with a pleasant long finish.

Product Notes

The Cavallotto Barolo Riserva Vigna San Giuseppe wine is a sophisticated blend, renowned for its quintessentially Italian character. Its ruby red colour and compelling aroma of ripe fruit, coupled with underlying notes of spices and licorice, are genuinely captivating. This indulgent wine bursts with rich flavours of black cherries and plums, balanced by firm tannins and a nice acidity. The finish is long-lasting and elegantly silky. Aged impeccably in oak barrels, this full-bodied, Nebbiolo grape wine emanates a timeless grace. It pairs beautifully with red meat dishes, fortified desserts and mature cheese. Truly, a fine wine for the discerning palate.
