Tasting Note

Silky tannins, not a word I am using often with this vintage (and one that I see only after tasting in bottle that I also used during the En Primeur tasting note). The emphasis is on blue fruits, black truffles, chamomile tea and bitter chocolate, with blueberry, cloves, liqourice root and rose petals, slender fruit structure but full of finesse and pleasure

Product Notes

Château La Fleur-Pétrus Pomerol is a marvellous French wine nestled in Bordeaux's esteemed Pomerol region. This elegant blend exudes a rich bouquet of dark fruits and delicate floral notes, wrapped in a warm, earthy undercurrent. It's beautifully balanced, touting a firm structure and velvety tannins, perfectly carrying the dense blackcurrant and plum favours. Intense and expressive on the palate, the wine provides prolonged, layered finish. This exquisite blend epitomises a well-crafted Pomerol, reflecting the estate's commitment to quality and zing of its unique terrior. An ideal companion to red meat or game, it's a genuine treasure for connoisseurs.
