Tasting Note

A modern styled Cahors with intense blackcurrant, menthol nuances and wonderful mineral notes from the clay soil. Concentrated black fruits persist on the full bodied palate, with good balance through to a textured finish.

Product Notes

Clos Troteligotte K-nom Cahors wine is a sumptuous Malbec from the esteemed Cahors region of France. This wine exemplifies an irresistible richness with notes of inky black fruit, coupled with spicy undertones. Its intricate layers of prunes, figs, and a hint of cocoa deliver a captivating complexity. The dark, plush texture is underpinned by a sturdy structure, allowing for magnificent ageing potential. Aged in sustainable oak barrels, it exhibits environmental respect combined with a streak of notorious Cahors minerality. A memorable full-bodied wine, it provides a well-rounded, decadent flavour profile that pairs excellently with robust meats and rich sauces.
