Product Notes

Domaine Drouhin Oregon Laurène Pinot Noir wine is an exquisite and full-bodied beverage, originating from Oregon's famed Willamette Valley. This elegant reddish-purple drink features complex aromas of dark berries, spice and floral nuances, with a delicate hint of French oak. Upon tasting, notes of black cherries, plums and subtle spices troupe across the palate, leading on to a rich, lingering finish. Characteristically smooth, this Pinot Noir has intricate layers of flavours that evolve over time. The balance of tannins and acidity make it an ideal match for gourmet dishes. A triumphant pursuit of perfection from the Drouhin family estates.

Tasting Notes

In many ways, the 2018 Laurène embodies what we love most about wines from the Dundee Hills. Offering beautiful clarity and a garnet color on approach, the aromatics brim with notes of dried red cherry, spice, wild herbs, earth, and subtle oak. Characteristically elegant, the wine evolves on the palate, moving seamlessly from its pomegranate welcome into its detailed lines of clove, white pepper, and cranberry. As always, cellaring the Laurène over the next 5-15 years will be well rewarded
