Tasting Note

Mid cherry red. Fragrant and open with lovely red fruit, both wild and domesticated. Spicy and plenty of fruit on the palate, even in this slightly lighter vintage. Tender finesse in the texture

Product Notes

Domaine Paul Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet Clos Saint Jean is a renowned French white wine showcasing an extraordinary bouquet of floral, fruity, and spicy notes. It hails from the acclaimed Chassagne-Montrachet region of Burgundy, crafted by traditional winemaking methods. Its vivid, golden hue hints at the ripest Chardonnay grapes imbuing a full-bodied palate, layered with flavours of green apple, honeysuckle, and a touch of nutmeg. The wine exhibits remarkable balance, a refined minerality, and an exceptional finish, an artful product of careful maturation. A favourite of both wine connoisseurs and occasional drinkers desiring a pure, indulgent taste.
