Pale golden in colour. On the nose aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruit are married with subtle notes of brioche and pastry. A wine characterised by saline tension, lively acidity and an expressive lemon-cream finish.

About the Winery

Domaine Roger Belland

Located in the heart of Burgundy, Domaine Roger Belland is a renowned winery deeply rooted in the tradition of wine-making. Spanning more than 23 hectares, it is an internationally acclaimed winery producing some of the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines and is particularly noted for its Premier Cru and Grand Cru designations.

The winery was established by Roger Belland, a fifth-generation vigneron who inherited his first 1/2 hectare of vineyards in 1955. Presently, the vineyard is managed by his daughter, Julie Belland. She has carried on her father's legacy and has successfully introduced modern wine-making techniques, without compromising the winery's commitment to tradition and quality.

In the cultivation of their vineyards Domaine Roger Belland shows respect for the environment and biodiversity. They adopt traditional and sustainable viticulture practices; hand-harvesting grapes, and time-honoured wine-making processes that add a touch of character, elegance and complexity to their wines.

Their wines are produced from 13 appellations, spanning from Santenay to Meursault. Each of these wines possesses a unique personality, reflecting the distinct terroir and climate variation of the vineyards they originate from, In the cellar, traditional Burgundy techniques are employed. Fermentation occurs in oak barrels, with the winery boasting an impressive array of 600 litre casks to ensure limited interaction with wood, preserving the pure fruit characteristics of their wines.

The hard-work and dedication that is put into every bottle, coupled with the magnificent Burgundian landscape, make Domaine Roger Belland a special place for all wine lovers. Whether you're a novice or a connoisseur, there's no denying the raw beauty and compelling stories each bottle of their wine articulates.
