Product Notes

Dow's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) wine is a robust, fascinatingly complex port. Crafted from rich, ripe fruit harvested from Dow's finest vineyards in the Douro Valley, Portugal, this deep ruby-coloured tipple offers an intense palette bursting with decadent notes of dark chocolate, blackberries and spice. The full-bodied wine seductively balances a sweet, plush texture with a firm tannic backbone. Matured in seasoned oak casks, it gains additional sophistication and depth. The lingering finish ensures an enjoying experience. Dow's LBV wine is a crowning glory of bottle-aged fortified wines, bringing sheer pleasure to every port lover's glass.

Tasting Notes

Deep purple with an opaque centre. Fresh, exuberant aromas of red and black fruits, mint and liquorice preface a broad palate of fruits of the forest with undertones of schist and firm, yet supple tannins. The well-toned structure combines sumptuous flavours with grip, ending with a long spicy finish.
