Product Notes

Guerrieri Rizzardi's Pojega Ripasso Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a delightful Italian red wine oozing with character and elegance. Originating from the Veneto region, this wine is crafted by re-fermenting Valpolicella on Amarone skins, a process the locals call "Ripasso," enhancing its richness and complexity. Upon the palate, it unfurls a sumptuous melange of dried fruit, spicy undertones and a hint of almond. The depth and structure are perfectly balanced by a bright acidity, culminating in an enduring finish. This full-bodied Ripasso pairs beautifully with rich, savoury dishes, bringing out the exquisite flavours in Italian cuisine.

Tasting Notes

In every respect the 2018 seems to have an extra layer to it, it is richer, more full in body and more complex than any other vintage. Still incredibly fresh and pure in fruit but with a rounder, richer feel it is sure to have a very broad appeal
