About the Winery

Nestled comfortably in the charming village of Chicheval, amongst the rolling landscapes of Northern Burgundy, lies the enchanting Laurent Tribut winery. Initially a tiny operation rooted in millennial-old tradition, Tribut has beautifully blossomed into an international symbol of excellent French winemaking.

Tribut, an unassuming craftsman in essence, is wholeheartedly committed to low-intervention, traditional viticulture. Eschewing mechanical harvesting he prefers the meticulous precision of manual grape picking. Besides, avoiding filtration, Tribut allows his wines to naturally express the complexity of their terroir.

The wines display evidence of their origin, born of prestigious appellations such as Puligny-Montrachet, Chablis and Meursault. They’re acclaimed for their remarkable freshness backed by a powerful mineral streak. Largely comprising of Chardonnay, the portfolio shines with vivacious white wines that are a definitive nod to traditional Burgundian winemaking.

Much acclaim is bestowed upon the premier cru Chablis "Beauroy" and the grand cru "Blanchot", noted for their complexity and alluring undertones of fresh pear, crisp apple and hints of subtle oak.
