The founder of the winery, Don Silvestre Ochagavia Echazarreta made his mark in 1851 and to this day, the winery continues to follow his footsteps. His visits to France made him realise the importance of quality vine stock; therefore, he procured top-notch vines from Bordeaux to enhance his vineyards. This was a groundbreaking move for Chilean viticulture which immensely impacted the country’s winemaking heritage. Ochagavia wine selection includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc alongwith many others, all of superior quality and rich taste.
