Product Notes

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Artemis Cabernet Sauvignon is a magnificent concoction from Napa Valley. This red wine boasts a compelling blend of refinement and power. It's typified by flavours of dark cherries, blackberries, and cassis, accentuated by cedar and sandalwood undertones. The medium-bodied palate reveals supple tannins, imparting an exquisite structure. Tender vanilla and spice notes from French oak barrel ageing further enhance its complexity. The finish is superbly persistent and elegant. This divine nectar, named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, delivers a wonderfully balanced and sophisticated drinking experience. Perfect for celebrations or simply toasting a quiet evening.

Tasting Notes

An utterly delicious Napa Valley Cabernet, reminiscent of a Saint-Julien Bordeaux from a rich, rounded vintage. Blueberry and black cherry fruit greet you as you put your nose in the glass, and they are lent coolness and subtlety by nuances of black tea, raspberry leaf, allspice and creamy oak. In the mouth it has a lovely, fresh, juicy character with just enough tannin to remind you that this is a serious wine that could last a good number of years, if only you can keep your hands off it - since it is such a joy to drink already. Enjoy at your leisure immediately and over the next decade.
