Tasting Note

An expression of two great terroirs of Barolo, La Morra and Serralunga, Dagromis takes its name from the Gromis family who previously owned one of the vineyards in the blend. The power of Serralunga and the elegance of La Morra create a captivating, intense Barolo, its solid body yielding a rich softness and very long finish.

Product Notes

Gaja Dagromis wine, hailing from Italy's renowned Piedmont region, exemplifies a robust and luxurious expression of Nebbiolo grapes. Characterised by its radiant ruby red colour, this magnificent wine mesmerises with its complex bouquet of blossoms, wild berries and spices. On tasting, the Dagromis enchants the palate with bold tannins, balanced acidity and a lingering, sophisticated finish. Aged in oak barrels, it brings forth distinct notes of leather, spices and ripe fruits. This deep-bodied, old-world wine beautifully captures the essence of Italian viticulture, making it an excellent accompaniment for hearty meat dishes and rich cheese platters.
