Tasting Note

This wine displays a distinctive golden colour with complex aromas of dried fruit, honey, and spices. The palate reveals rich flavours of candied fruit, honey, caramel, and complementary spice elements. The wine finishes elegantly with remarkable balance between acidity and sweetness, concluding with a long, lingering finish characterised by distinctive spicy notes.

Product Notes

Justino’s Colheita Boal is a Madeira wine that showcases the island’s distinctive balance of richness and freshness. Made from the Boal grape and matured in oak, it offers inviting aromas of dried fruit, caramel, toasted nuts and warm spice. On the palate, its medium-sweet character is lifted by vibrant acidity, giving depth without feeling heavy. Layers of toffee, orange peel and roasted almonds lead towards a long, elegant finish. Enjoy it slightly chilled as an after-dinner treat, or pair it with fruitcake, crème brûlée, mature cheeses and nut-based desserts. Its complexity also makes it rewarding to savour on its own.
