Product Notes

Kanonkop Black Label Pinotage is a fine South African wine renowned for its exquisite complexity. Using 100% Pinotage grapes, it offers a rich, deep red tone while releasing enticing aromas of ripe red fruit, chocolate, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, this full-bodied wine bursts with sumptuous flavours including blackberries, plums, and a touch of spice. Incredibly balanced and layered, it boasts a velvety texture underscored by perfectly integrated tannins, leading to a sustained, satisfying finish. Aged in new French oak barrels, it's a wine of excellent ageability, evolving beautifully in the bottle over time.

Deep purple in colour, with rich and layered flavours of red and black cherries, dark plums, wild bramble fruit with subtle sweet spice and oak undertones. The seamlessly integrated oak and velvety tannins add firm support and structure to the sultry fruit core. The perfect balance of elegance and complexity.
