Product Notes

La Giustiniana's Lugarara Gavi di Gavi is a splendid example of sophistication and quality in the world of Italian wines. Regarded as one of the top whites of the Piedmont region, it emanates delightfully nuanced fragrances of florals, ripe peach and delectable citrus. On the palate, this harmonious white wine presents a balanced amalgamation of crisp acidity, ripe fruitiness, and a subtle hint of minerality. With a lingering finish and an undertone of almond, the elegant body of this wine makes it a wonderful accompaniment to seafood and white meats. Highly praised for its sophisticated taste and consistency.

About the Winery

La Giustiniana

Hidden deep within the verdant, rolling hills of Tuscany, you will stumble upon the serene paradise of La Giustiniana Winery. This charming old winery is chiefly renowned for its superb white wines. Renovated to manifest its archaic grandeur with a touch of modern elegance, the winery has been perfected across generations to become a dwelling of pure vinous magic.

Picturesquely nestled in the heart of Gavi, La Giustiniana's wine production dates back to the early 17th century giving it a distinguished lineage in wine production. The vineyard is spread over a stunning expanse of 40 hectares where the unique flavours of Cortese grapes are meticulously nurtured. The fruit of these vines manifests itself into the enchantingly refined taste of Gavi di Gavi, a wine of renowned je ne sais quoi. The winery also produces some impressive red wines such as Barbera and Moscato d’Asti.

Wine production at La Giustiniana is closely guarded by winemaker Matteo Zanetta and agronomist Enrico Poggio. Guided by their passion for excellence and a concise understanding of the winemaking process, each meticulously prepared bottle boasts its own character, artfully merging tradition and progressive technique to achieve a harmonious balance of flavours.

The estate is also a portrait of living history. Ancient and captivating, La Giustiniana has its fair share of legendary stories. Once the summer residence of Princess of Santa Croce, it's not hard to see why this location was favoured; with its cypress-lined avenues, quaint farmhouses and sweeping vineyard landscapes, it , is the epitome of Tuscan charm.

If you're prowling for a sublime wine, marvellous scenery, and an authentic Italian experience. Look no further than La Giustiniana Winery, a place where time seems to stand still, and every sip of wine tells a story.
