Product Notes

Leeu Passant Old Vines `Lötter` Franschhoek Cinsault wine is a remarkably sophisticated South African vintage. Produced in the scenic Franschhoek Valley, this wine boasts a richly layered flavour profile featuring fresh red berries and fragrant herbs. The subtle notes of dark chocolate and anise deliver complexity, providing a lovely balance to the ripe fruit palate. Its bright acidity and soft tannins create a crisp, elegant finish. Aged in neutral French oak barrels, it provides a heartwarming depth with each sip. Ideal as a standalone drink or paired with robust dishes, this wine offers a memorable drinking experience.

Tasting Notes

The intensely aromatic nose is full of red berry, spice and heathland character. The intense palate shows succulent mixed berries, charcuterie and some savoury notes. The grippy tannins give structure and texture to the wine.
