Product Notes

Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Vergers' is an exquisite wine from the Burgundy region of France. This polished, premier cru white is graced with subtle aromas of citrus, honeysuckle and toasted almonds. On the palate, it offers a refined balance of rich, buttery complex flavours and minerality, rounded out by a lengthy, smooth finish. Its full-bodied and bold character makes it a perfect companion to seafood and white meat dishes. This wine clearly showcases the vintner's dedication to quality and respect for traditional winemaking. A fine choice for those seeking an exceptional white Burgundy.

Tasting Notes

One of Chassagne-Montrachet’s most elegant and luxurious wines, this complex bottling strikes a brilliant balance between the mineral character and the powerful, spicy character. Ripe fruit and slight flint aromatics deceive, as they guide to a palate that is broader, deeply expressive and full bodied with pure fruit and chalk, rounding out with a long mineral-tinged finish. Ideal with noble white meats or fish like salmon. To be served at 10-12°C. Ageing potential: 5-7 years.
