Tasting Notes

Aromas of dried orange, berry and hazelnut with hints of dried flowers. Tar, too. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a juicy finish. The tannins are very fine and integrated. Chewy and encompassing flow across the palate. Very structured.

Pio Cesare

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Piedmont in Northern Italy, Pio Cesare winery is truly a marvel in the world of viticulture. Recognised the world over for its exceptional wines, it has been producing top quality Barolos and Barbarescos for more than a century. Pio Cesare's vision is not to only produce world-class wines, but to weave an indelible story of a region’s rich past, a family’s enduring passion and nature’s unequivocal generosity.
