Tasting Note

Deep ruby red in colour, the bouquet is very ripe and intense with ripe blackberry and plum, fig, cracked pepper and orange rind. A hint of smoke combined with spicy notes of tobacco, leather and seducing balsamic notes on the finish. The palate is clean and full-bodied with plenty of ripe dark fruit flavours and grippy tannins. Well-balanced, with purity, complexity and persistence on the palate.

Product Notes

Produttori Di Manduria Sonetto Primitivo Riserva wine is a striking symbol of Italian viniculture, hailing from Southern Italy's Puglia region. This elegant wine has an intense, ruby-red colour that melds perfectly with the complex bouquet of ripe dark fruits, spices, and chocolate nuances. Aged in oak barrels for 12 months, this bold and full-bodied wine tastes of blackberry, plum, and vanilla characters, neatly infused with gripping tannins. A lengthy and well-rounded finish provides a stellar conclusion for the senses. This is not just a wine for special occasions, but also a maturity of tradition and character in every sip.
