Riecine was initially founded by a British couple, John and Palmina Livingston, in 1971. It's unlike any other winery in the region. They've always been committed to maintaining their dedication to quality and tradition; however, Riecine has always been forward-thinking and open to innovation.

Riecine winery begins their magic with the very soil they're rootedin. They have a strong focus on the cultivation and harvesting of Sangiovese grapes. The grape is a prime component in Chianti wine, complemented by the region's Mediterranean climate – a perfect combination. They grow their grapes organically, always keeping nature at the forefront, they prune by hand, and use only native yeasts in the fermentation.
