Tasting Note

This well-balanced Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from cool-climate vineyards at the southern edge of the Sonoma Coast AVA. Fruit from the Leveroni Vineyard, located just south of Sonoma, contributes the distinctive floral notes of the Sauvignon Blanc musqué clone, while the Grossi Vineyard adds freshness and vibrant energy. The wine opens with expressive aromas of lemon and grapefruit zest, followed by subtle flavoors of white peach, key lime, and honeydew melon. A refreshing minerality and bright, zesty acidity carry through to a crisp, lively finish. Versatile and food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with a wide range of salads and shellfish dishes-best enjoyed with a splash of sunshine.

Product Notes

Schug Winery's Sonoma Coast Sauvignon Blanc is a captivating Californian wine. The initial aroma teases with notes of passionfruit and fresh citrus, while the palate is treated to a delightful marriage of exotic tropical fruits and crisp lemongrass undertones. This wine is refreshing, well-balanced and light, with a pleasing mineral character that comes from the Sonoma Coast vineyards. Matured in stainless steel tanks, it maintains a lively, fruity freshness. The finish is both elegant and prolonged, a testament to the wine's superior quality. This Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent accompaniment to seafood and light pasta dishes.
