Tasting Note

The Seaward grapes are selected from South Africa’s top coastal growing areas. There is a purity of fruit in these wines, with great concentration, balance and finesse. The Sauvignon Blanc is grown on the Tygerberg Hills, only 16km from the cold Atlantic ocean. It shows rich aromas of green figs, grass and ripe tropical fruit.

Product Notes

The Spier Seaward Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshingly crisp South African wine from the esteemed Cape Town coastal region. This splendid tipple captivates with an enticing bouquet of citrus and tropical fruits, underscored by hints of fresh herbs. The palate is vivacious and mouth-filling, revealing an extraordinary depth of fruity flavours, balanced by a lively acidity. Nuances of passionfruit, guava and grapefruit lend an exotic appeal, while its green undertone and minerality offer a wonderful contrast. Enjoy this vibrant Sauvignon Blanc with seafood dishes for a splendid gastronomic experience. Its persistence on the finish completes the pleasure of this classy wine.
