Tasting Note
Pale, lemon, bright, Basa is bone-dry, mid-weight, and shows distinct earthy, herbal complexity. Verdejo-which accounts for 90 % of the blend- is sometimes spoken of as Spain’s answer to sauvignon blanc but it is more restrained with flavours of lemon peel and green peach and dry zesty finish.
Product Notes
Telmo Rodriguez Basa is an exquisite Spanish wine from the Rueda region that elegantly encapsulates richness and finesse. Produced by famed winemaker Telmo Rodriguez, this white blend presents a pleasing palate of lush tropical fruits, coupled with subtle hints of herbaceous undertones. The Verdejo and Viura grapes offer a vibrant acidity, leading to a wine that is both sumptuous and refreshing. There is an excellent balance of flavour, intermingling ripe fruits with fine minerality, delivering a seamless finish. This wine is excellent for pairing with seafood or enjoyed as a standalone aperitif—a must-try for wine enthusiasts.
