Tasting Note

Fruit for this wine was grown in the Awatere and Wairau Valleys where typical warm days and cool nights provide classic flavours, intensity and definition. Vineyard selection for this wine was based on the potential of each site to produce wines which show tropical fruit flavours and generosity.

Product Notes

Renowned for its eloquence, the Vidal Estate Sauvignon Blanc wine is a marvellous creation from Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. This exquisite white wine boasts of persistent and evocative notes of fresh citrus fruits, blossoming passion fruit and delicate nuances of herbs. On the palate, it delivers a beautiful balance between richness and crisp acidity, underpinned by a mineral undertone which adds to its complexity. Coupled with a long, vibrant finish, this Sauvignon Blanc celebrates the varietal's purity and freshness. It is absolutely delightful as an aperitif or with a variety of seafood and salad dishes.
